An Olmec Jade Figure Mexico, c. 1500 - 500 BC Standing with arms crossed over chest, drilled for suspension at crook of arms and ears. Typical Olmec head with elongated forehead with cleft at crown. Eyes and corners of the mouth drilled for inlay. Carved from an opaque speckled light blue-green jade. In excellent condition. Accompanied by a Stoetzer Inc. scientific analysis of its authenticity and provenance, signed by Robert and Nicholas Stoetzer June 15, 2015.
